Book Lockers and Interlibrary Loan

Placing an ILL request:

Patrons can place interlibrary loan requests from our catalog. When they conduct a search, ILL-eligible items will appear with a button labeled “Request this item through interlibrary loan.”

Students can also make ILL requests by filling out either the Journal Articles or Books form on our ILL page: https://library.park.edu/home/interlibrary-loan

This page also contains some helpful FAQs about due dates, renewal, and more.

Picking up items from book lockers:

If a patron has placed a physical item on hold, either from our catalog or interlibrary loan, Veronica will place it in one of the book lockers to the right of the circulation desk. The patron will then receive an email that their materials are ready for pickup. That email should contain the book locker number and pin.

When the patron arrives, ask them to pull up the email on their phone. Then, show them the correct locker, open it, and give them their items. The items have already been checked out to them, so you do not need to check them out again!
