Common Patron Questions (And Their Answers!)

Q: Where is the printer?

A: Just past the Popular Reading Collection, by the Chromebook and laptop carts. Students log in with their Park credentials and can print via USB, Google Drive, and more.

Q: Where are the bathrooms?

A: The first floor bathrooms are just past the Starbucks. The second floor bathrooms are just off the art gallery.

Q: How do I log into the library?

A: How you log into the library depends on what you're trying to do.

  • To Look for Books in the Library Catalog
    • Use your Park ID followed by pu. For example, 1234567pu.
  • Searching a Database or using Pirate Search
    • Use your Park Single Sign On (Park email address and Canvas/MyPark password). Like this:


If you still can't log into library databases or Pirate Search, there are two things to try:

Q: I placed an item on hold (or requested it via interlibrary loan) and was notified that it’s ready. Where do I go to get it?

A: Items are held for patrons in the book lockers by the info desk. They should have been notified via email which locker it’s in, and the locker combination to open the door. Materials in the lockers have already been checked out to patrons, so they can just take it and go!
