About Course Reserves

Course reserves allow faculty to supplement required readings. Reserves should provide students with a small portion of course materials and are not a substitute for textbooks, journal subscriptions, open educational resources, licensed content, or coursepacks.

Physical Reserves

Physical reserve items may be checked out for 2 hours at a time. To place an item on reserve in the Norrington Center, please fill out the Reserves Form.

Electronic Reserves

Our e-reserves service makes classroom materials available to students via the Canvas course shell regardless of course modality. To use e-reserves, please fill out the Reserves Form. You'll also find more information on using e-reserves here.
