Yoga not only benefits the body, but also the mind! It can relieve anxiety, stress and overall improve quality of life. Some simple yoga poses include: the mountain pose, tree pose, triangle, warrior, downward-facing dog, upward-facing dog, seated forward fold, bridge pose, child pose and corpse pose. According to the CDC, regular physical activity also benefits brain health, weight management, reducing disease, strengthening your bones and muscles, and improving your ability to do everyday activities.
