Quick Tips for Citation

  • Using someone else's words (quotes)
  • Using someone else's ideas
  • Referring to someone else's work

Citation Helpers

Online citation generators can be helpful for creating your bibliography, but be sure to double check that they're correct using a style guide or Purdue OWL (linked below). Don't rely solely on the citations created from a citation generator, and remember that you must also use in-text citations in addition to your bibliography.
