How to Activate Your Account
Claim your account: https://park.joinhandshake.com/

1. Log in using your ParkID@park.edu and the same password as your student email.
   (We’ve already started your profile with basic info!)
2. Complete your profile to unlock personalized job alerts, employer interest, and skill-showcasing opportunities.
   Tip: See “Completing your Profile in Handshake” for guidance.

Search Jobs: Browse tailored opportunities.
Discover Events & Fairs: Sign up for networking and recruiting events.
Follow Employers & Jobs: Get alerts when deadlines are near or employers are on campus.
Use Your Homepage: Navigate your tools to manage applications and discover content.

Employers

Handshake is Park University’s online job database for all Park students, graduates, internship seekers, and Alumni at our campus centers nationwide. We invite you to create an employer account to post your event, employment, and internship opportunities.

How to Get Started

1. Register for a Handshake Employer Account: Handshake New Employer Registration
2. Create Your Profile: after registration, check your email for a confirmation link. Complete your profile and choose the institutions where you wish to post opportunities.
3. Request Access to Park University: select Park University when prompted. Our approval process typically takes 1–2 business days.
4. Start Posting & Engaging: once approved, you can post jobs, host events, and interact with students through Handshake.

Park Alumni: Reactivate Your Handshake Account 
To log in to Handshake as an alum, you may need to update your login credentials, especially if you previously accessed Handshake using your ParkID@park.edu and student email password.

• If you’ve already created Handshake credentials with your personal email address, you can continue using the platform and enjoy nearly all the same features. Make sure your profile is up to date to unlock personalized job alerts, employer interest, and opportunities to showcase your skills.

• If you are still logging in with you ParkID@park.edu, follow the steps below to transition your account:

What to Do If You No Longer Have Access to Your ParkID@park.edu

You have two options if you no longer have access to your Park email:

• If You Previously Had a Handshake account:

• Try logging in using the personal email address you have on file with Park University.
• If you're unsure which email is on file or login is unsuccessful, contact us at careerdevelopment@park.edu
• If you no longer have access to your ParkID@park.edu email, contact us careerdevelopment@park.edu we can initiate an email update request to link your existing Handshake account to a personal email address. This will ensure continued access to the platform.

• If You’ve Never Had an Account

Contact us careerdevelopment@park.edu  and include your Park ID number. We’ll help you set up a profile for you.
