If you believe you know of government data that has been removed due to recent executive orders, and would like to regain access to it, the librarians at American University have provided steps to attempt to "get back" that data.

This is a thorough list of words which have been removed from government websites and other source types. Pen America admits that they may have missed some words, so they link to additional sources (mostly newspapers) with additional lists.

The most recent census data would allows users to find in-depth demographic information for any geographic region in the United States.

Data.gov provides datasets compiled by the federal, local, and state governments.

This search allows the public to access non-profits' reported financial data via Form 990s and other government documents.

The National Bureau of Economic Research is a non-profit, non-partisan group, run by mostly academics, who research contemporary economic issues. They discourage contributors from making policy recommendations, but do provide detailed analysis of specific economic conditions and trends.

Managed by the University of Michigan, ICPRS is a dataset repository of research in behavioral and social sciences.

According to the World Bank, "The Data Catalog is designed to make World Bank's development data easy to find, download, use, and share. It includes data from the World Bank's microdata, finances and energy data platforms, as well as datasets from the open data catalog."

Run by the Urban Institute, a think tank founded by President Johnson, the National Center for Charitable Statistics provides both data and raw datasets about non-profits operating in the U.S.

Charity Navigator is an independent non-profit that assesses other 501(c)(3) nonprofits for their effectiveness with regards to turning donations into action.

Guidestar provides another database to search non-profit IRS filings, but also provides additional information and analysis.

Pew is a leader in national polling on numerous issues.

Quinnipiac University runs a well-respected, non-partisan polling center.
